Taking place on the third Saturday of every month, North Wootton Village Market is the place to find fresh produce from local suppliers alongside hand-crafted products, as well as being able to meet the producers and makers behind them.

Each month, between 15 and 20 traders showcase an excellent range of high quality, local, Norfolk produce and delicacies. You’ll find fresh bread from Fakenham artisan bakery Krusty Loaf; fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from Poundsworth; fine Indian cuisine from East Winch’s Coriander & Lime; beers by North Wootton based independent craft brewers Lynn Brewery; luxury ready-to-eat nuts-based porridges by Up ‘N’ Mellow of King’s Lynn; pick and mix sweets and hard boiled retro sweets from Marham’s Eddie’s Sugar Shack; greetings cards and more from Sedgeford’s Ridgeway Designs; jams, pickles, and preserves by Joyce’s Jams of Terrington St Clement; cakes and tasty treats handmade by King’s Lynn’s Florence On The Go; ciders made by Marshland Cider of Marshland St James; flowers and plants from North Wootton’s Flowers on the Green; and so much more.

North Wootton Village Market is open from 9am until 2pm, and teas, coffees, bacon rolls, sausage baps, and cold drinks are on sale. There’s seating available should you wish to stop and enjoy your snack, and in the summer months we throw open the doors and provide outside seating too.

At the very first Village Market in July 2018, the ethos was very much “shop small and buy local”. The artisan makes, fresh produce, and household essentials on sale now have not travelled far, and the makers and producers are paid a fair price for their goods while customers get quality, local products at an affordable price. This ethos remains today – to support local makers and producers and also to provide a community event.

Organised by the North Wootton Village Hall Management Committee, all proceeds from the Village Market go directly to the Village Hall, helping with maintenance and upkeep costs. By coming along, not only are you supporting local makers and producers, but supporting your village hall too!
